The cameras displayed on this website are all networkcameras. These cameras publish their images on internet without intervention of a PC on the location.

We exclusively use professional ip-camera' s of the brands Mobotix and Axis. The composition of the cameras changes regularly because we always want to test and publish the images of the cameras with the newest techniques.

Camera 1 also publishes the current weather-information from the Market of Sittard. For this, we use the professional weather-station Davis Vantage Pro. This weather-station is connected directly to the serial-port of the Mobotix camera. In the camera we developed a piece of software which adds the weather-information directly to the current webcam-image.

Voor camera 2 maken wij gebruik van een PTZ-dome camera, de Axis P5534-E. Deze camera heeft tevens een HDTV kwaliteit van 1280 x 720 pixels en beschikt over 18x optische zoom. Hierbij bieden wij ook weer de mogelijkheid om de camera te positioneren op voorkeursposities.

The images of the cameras are being published through SiteCam Hosting Services provided by SittyWeb Internet Solutions. This hosting makes it possible to publish the cameras in various ways, also streaming video is one of these possibilities. The images which are published on this website are live-streams directly from our streaming servers located at our datacenter in Amsterdam.

SiteCam hosting also makes it possible to control your positioning camera on distance. This is a unique method to control the camera, because the ip-address of the camera is not traceable in any way. Owners of those ptz (pan-tilt-zoom) ip-cameras are very glad with this invention. One of the other possibilities is to send a CamCard. This is a current image of the camera which you sent as an E-Card. This way you can share the live-images with all your friends.
